Skincare
Here, you’ll find my current skincare routine, which I’ve been carefully adapting over the past few months to better suit my skin’s needs. My current routine focuses on keeping my skin hydrated, calm, smooth, and healthy-looking while supporting a strong skin barrier and improving the appearance of texture, pores, and overall glow.
You might just discover a new favorite—or find that one of these products is exactly what your skin has been looking for.
My Skincare Products
My morning skincare routine has become one of those little parts of my day that I genuinely look forward to. Over the past few months, I’ve been carefully adjusting the products I use to better fit what my skin needs, rather than constantly adding new products just because they’re trending.
Right now, my main goal is healthy-looking, hydrated, smooth, and glowing skin. I’ve found that a good morning routine doesn’t necessarily have to be complicated. For me, it’s about finding products that complement each other and that I actually enjoy using consistently. My current lineup gives me that fresh, hydrated feeling in the morning without leaving my skin feeling overly heavy.
. If you’re also looking for a routine focused on hydration, glow, and maintaining a healthy-looking skin barrier, you might find a new favorite here.
I prefer keeping my routine fairly simple, with each product serving a purpose. Here’s the order I currently follow and why each step has earned a spot in my routine.
1. Gel Cleanser — Start With a Fresh Base
Starting with a clean base allows the rest of my skincare products to apply more evenly. I also prefer a cleanser that leaves my skin feeling fresh without that tight, stripped feeling.
2. Etude Soon Jung pH 5.5 Relief Toner — Hydrate & Soothe
I like using a toner at this point because it helps prepare my skin for the products that follow without making my routine feel heavy.
3. I’m From Mugwort Essence — Calm & Hydrate
This step is especially focused on giving my skin another layer of hydration while supporting a comfortable, healthy-looking skin barrier.
4. Prequel Vitamin C Serum — Brighten & Support an Even-Looking Complexion
This is the brightening step in my morning routine. Vitamin C is an ingredient I like incorporating during the day because it can help improve the appearance of dullness and uneven-looking skin tone.
5. Good Molecules Yerba Mate Wake Up Eye Gel — Refresh the Eye Area
I like keeping an eye product as a separate step because the skin around the eyes can use a little extra hydration. This refreshes the under-eye area for a more awake-looking appearance.
6. Vanicream Moisturizing Cream — Lock Everything In
This is my moisturizing step and helps bring everything together. After layering several lightweight products, I want to finish with something that provides lasting moisture. For my routine, this step is especially important because keeping my skin hydrated is one of my main priorities.
7. Haruharu Wonder Sunscreen — The Final Step
Last—but definitely not least— sunscreen! Sunscreen is the final step of my morning skincare routine because protecting my skin during the day is just as important to me as the products I use to treat or hydrate it.
